Wooden bowls.Locally sourced wood, handcrafted in Devon by Tim. The whiskey barrel bowl. This stunning centre piece fruit bowl has been made from parts of a 30 year old Speyside oak whiskey barrel. Part of the barrel making process involves scorching the wood to seal it and that along with the scars from a life time of rolling over rough yards gives it a wonderful patina that you just could not replicate. Lebanon Cedar Bowl. Bowl made using a wind fall branch from the tree in the background. This beautiful bowl has been carved from a wind fall limb of the beautiful Cedar Of Lebanon tree pictured in the back ground. Cedar Of Lebanon is a member of the pine family and native to the eastern mediterranean basin, they can grow 130 feet (40 metres) tall. The wood gives off a lovely aromatic smell when carved. Every bowl carved From The Hill is uniquely different.
